Nowadays due to access of educational recourses more and more people become fluent in miscellaneous foreign languages. As a consequence, such people are regarded by majority as those, who can freely be engaged in the work of interpreter, while others suppose that it may be too hard for them to accomplish such difficult job without special education and preparing.
In my opinion, such thorough work demands more than merely basic knowledge of language and those who are even fluent in a foreign language will inevitably encounter problems doing this job. Firstly, I suppose so because this work is responsible. I imply that an interpreter must carefully translate conversations in order to avoid misunderstanding between speakers. It is especially important during international negotiations. Secondly, I assume that a person who is going to work as an interpreter must also perfectly know his or her native language in addition to a foreign one.
However, there are some people who believe that there is nothing difficult in this job if you are fluent in a foreign language.

It seems to them that it is needless to be graduated in this area because such easy work does not require special skills.
I do not agree with them because besides knowledge of language a person who is going to be an interpreter must also know various context situations, comprehend slang language and hidden meaning in order to translate properly.
To sum up, I strongly believe that it is much more difficult to work as an interpreter than it is supposed to be even if you are fluent in a foreign language.
