There is a pretty much widespread opinion that a person who is fluent in a foreign language or several of them can easily work as interpreter while the rest are sure that you must put very much effort into studying the language to get this job. Let us see where the truth lies!
What concerns me, I think that interpreter profession is very hard and, first of all, it requires all the time you have to become successful at it. Secondly, it is not easy to stay synchronized with speaker's speech and not to stray from it even for the professionals. Finally, some people may have fatal mistakes in the process of studying the art of this profession, which leads person to facing the severe consequences such as losing everything that was put at stake and having to find a new job.
However, the others are sure that interpreter's job is but a piece of cake for person who know foreign languages very good.

These people think that there are no difficulties in working as interpreter, that you just must be fast enough to speak in the line with the speaker.
But I do not agree with the above-mentioned opinion because it seems completely wrong to me. I think that there must be many other things to work as interpreter, such as high consideration, extremely fast reaction speed and quick perception to understand and to convey the speaker's words to people.
To conclude what I have said before, I would like to emphasize that interpreter's profession is rather hard and uneasy job, and everyone can handle it.
