Parents should not post photos of their children on social media (Ñî÷èíåíèÿ ÅÃÝ àíãëèéñêèé ÿçûê)

Nowadays, parents have become active users of social media. Many parents post stories, photos, and videos of their kids in the Internet. Some experts say that people may potentially harm your child, while lots of parents think that it is good for their friends to know about their children.

In my opinion, posting children’s life is not necessary as you will post too much information. To start with, posting on Social Media can invade your child's privacy. Kids may start feeling embarrassed about the content that their parents post about them. Secondly, your social media posts might be used for bullying. Some people, especially evil teenagers, may be able to use that information to make fun of and even bully your child.

Some parents, however, can say that posting children’s photos is wonderful. Firstly, they are proud of their families and want to stay connected with relatives and friends. Moreover, all women think that their children are beautiful and perfect, so they want to share happiness.

I cannot agree with this point of view as they do not take into account the fact that some people can envy parents and this can cause bad consequences, for example a jinx. Besides, sharing photos in the net, you tell everyone about your life. So bad people will know everything about your family and can use this information against you.

To sum up, I would like to say that there is no need in posting privacy information in the internet because the Net remembers everything. Sharing on social media too much puts children in danger, so parents should stop doing it.
