40.2 When choosing a place to live, the climate should be the main criterion (Сочинения ЕГЭ английский язык)

Nowadays people are getting more and more concerned about the place where they want to live. The ability to move around the whole world gives s wide choose of places. There are those who say that climate plays a big role in this choose, but some people are convinced that there are other more important criteria Now I would like to express my point of view on this issue.

In my opinion, although climate is one of the essential criteria, others are more powerful. To begin with, while choosing a place to live, people pay their attention to the atmosphere of the city. It includes architecture, citizens and culture. These criteria create place's mood, which does this place comfortable or uncomfortable for people. Secondly, no less important is the local language because it will be hard to live without understanding not only citizens, but also all signboards, TV shows, books.

Nevertheless, let us consider this problem from another angle. Some people are convinced that climate plays a big role in choosing a place for living (because it influences the choosing of vegetables, fruit and other food. For example, if a person loves eating tropical fruit, he cannot live in Alaska or Russia.

This argument does not seem convincing to me. Nowadays, thanks to the import, we can eat a lot of kinds of food throughout the world.

In summary, choosing a location for living is not easy and includes a lot of criteria. Climate is one of them, but not the most important because in the first place there is general atmosphere and local people.
