It’s better to buy your own flat rather than to rent one/When choosing a place to live, the climate should be the main criteria (Сочинения ЕГЭ английский язык)

Nowadays people argue a lot about the place of leaving. Some people think that everyone benefits a lot in being an owner of apartments, while others claim that purchasing a flat is a useless waste of money. Let me express my opinion.

In my view, people shouldn't buy their own accommodation. Firstly, owning a flat robs people of freedom. A mortgage usually takes 10 to 30 years to be paid. Therefore during this time owners can't fastly change their home, move to another town or country. Secondly, having a real estate is a great responsibility and risk. In case of a disaster such as fire or earthquake an owner is able to lose almost everything.

However, there are people who disagree with me.

Their main argument is that having your own flat is very useful because it is not just simply purchasing, it is an investment that saves money from inflation. That why people who rent a flat lose a lot of money every year.

Despite my respect for this opinion, I cannot share it because the profit of real estate investments is very low. It has a lot of risks and takes decades for the apartment to pay off. I'm convinced that there are a lot of more liquid actives in which one can make an investment.

Taking into consideration all mentioned above, I still believe that successful people should rent their accommodation instead of buying it.

Nowadays humans have an absolutely freedom in their choice of residence. Some people believe that weather conditionals must be considered seriously choosing a place to live, while others claim that climate does no matter. Let me express my opinion.

In my view, the climate should not be the main criteria for a place to live in. Firstly, government policy and the features of the law and society are much more important. For example, climate in Afrika is very pleasant while the level of law compliance is very low. Secondly, an opportunity for self-realization is a more valuable criteria than climate because successful people are happy in every weather.

However, there are people with the opposite opinion. Their main argument is that unpleasant, inappropriate climate can decrease human productivity and can be very harmful to his health.

Despite my respect for this opinion, I cannot share it because due to modern technologies such as thermostat and humidifier people are able to create their own unique microclimate inside their houses and feel comfortable everywhere.

Taking into consideration all mentioned above, I still believe that the climate should not be the main criterion of a place to live.
