The issue, which has caused lots of controversy for the recent years, is countries’ national identity. Some people think that all countries will be absolutely identical in the future. Others take this idea with a grain of some skepticism.
In my opinion, countries will keep their national identity. First of all, every person knows the history of his country, its traditions and customs, and he passes this knowledge to his children and friends. That is why every country will never lose its cultural values and national identity. Secondly, historically people from different countries have their own unique characters and worldview. Even the globalization cannot destroy these differences in characters so countries will save their national identity.

However, there is another side to the question. Some people believe the world globalization has a very big impact so countries and their cultures cannot resist its influence. Moreover, creating world standards in education and trade helps countries lose their national identity.
I personally disagree with the above-mentioned viewpoint. Firstly, nowadays the governments are making different conditions, such as opening museums, holding cultural festival, to support the national identity. As for education and trade, I think that they will never become identical because of differences in languages and religions in different parts of the world.
In conclusion, I would like to say that people in different countries have always had their own ways of living, cultures and lifestyles. Therefore, countries won’t lose their national identity in the near future.
