Are clothes important to impress people? (Сочинения ЕГЭ английский язык)

We live and our world changes every time. And it also concerns vogue which develops more and more. It's so incredibly amazing to recognize how much our tastes and styles in clothing have changed in comparison with fashion of our parents. Every time, every day our world brings us new clothes items which are tried to be done better, more original, bolder than another things. Clothes and fashion filled everything and we can't help paying attention on what clothes do our friends or just unfamiliar people wear. Because clothes can tell us a lot about person: his traits of character, his habitats and so on despite the fact it's just an outer shell of person but not the inner form.

And one must admit that clothes are really important to impress people and not just in our time. And there are lots of things that prove this.

First of all, it's really important because people got used to forming impression of us on clothes we wear. Especially, if it's the first impression. Probably that sounds trivial but it's true. Opinion which was established on visual impression can be wrong but clothes are first thing which we pay attention to.

Secondly, clothes are important to impress people because it reflects our inner world. Clothes show our behavior and world views, tastes and so on. For example, emo has own style which underlines their world's views. A person with some traits of character usually has appropriate appearance. For instance, unsociable, closed, silent person as a general rule wears unremarkable, gray clothes. Or bright, coloreful clothes indicate the desire of person to stand out from the crowd.

To sum up, there are plenty of reasons why clothes are actually important to impress people. And this importance becomes more significant every time. But we shouldn't forget that just clothes won't help us to make friends with somebody or enter the university. It matters not as much as personality. So in time of chasing for fashion trends do not forget to cultivate inner intellegance as well.
