Every city and every town should have a zoo essay (Сочинения ЕГЭ английский язык)

Almost everyone adores going to the zoo no matter what age a person is. Some people claim that zoos should be built even in towns, while others claim that the number of zoos needs to be shortened.

To my mind, keeping a zoo everywhere has numerous disadvantages. Firstly, zoos are a prison for wild animals. This place cannot provide wild creatures with all of their natural habitats and makes them be in constant anxiety. Secondly, no one exactly knows how animals are treated in zoos. Sometimes the staff does not care about what wild creatures eat, where and how they sleep, and other conditions crucial for animals' well-being are not provided either.

Nevertheless, there are those who suppose that zoos should be built as much as possible.

According to their opinion, a zoo is an amazing place where people not only have fun, but also get closer with wild nature and know more about it.

Personally, I do not agree with the above opinion. I am convinced that people should initially think about the condition of animals and later about their own curiosity. While visitors are getting pleasure, animals are suffering continuously. Flash cameras, noise, excessive attention negatively influence wild creatures’ behavior and health.

To conclude, even though there are different points of view on the issue of necessity of having zoos, I firmly believe that a zoo strongly differs from the wild and animals cannot live happily there.
