A lot of people enjoy travelling nowadays. But there is an opinion that travelling is only for young people, not for senior citizens. Is it true?
To begin with, I'd like to say that it is easier to travel when you are young, because the youth have less responsibilities than adults. Most of them don't have families, they have not to care about their children. It is a great chance to relax and to forget of everyday problems. Secondly, when you are young, you are more energetic, riskier. Sometimes we should pass long distances to get the destination of our journey by different ways. It can be inconvenient for senior people. And thirdly, travelling can help you to make new friends, broaden your mind, learn the culture of other countries, which can be helpful in your job.
On the other hand, young people don't have enough money for journeys.
At the same time, most grown-ups usually save money for future living and spend it for travelling when they are retired. What is more, young people are lack of life expreience and they can have some problems during the trip. That's why senior citizens have more opportunities for travelling.
As for me, I enjoy travelling. When I visit different cities or countries, I always meet new people: both young and elderly ones. All of them travel because of various reasons. Young people usually travel to lie in the sun, swim in the sea or go on tours, while senior people visit places where they can improve their health and relax after years of difficult work.
In conclusion I'd like to say that travelling is not only for young people but for eledrly citizens too. Relaxation is neccessary for everybody.
