retelling. The movie starts with the fact that the driver Frank of Reggie hasn’t come to work. At Frank's apartment Reggie comes across his sister Frances and they arrange about a date. Then the story takes us back and we learn about brothers past. The narrator informs us that Ron was serving a prison sentence for grievous bodily harm and he has been remanded to a psychiatric facility as insane. Than psychiatrist says under pressure that Ron should be released, he is absolutely healthy and gives Reggie medicine for Ron afterwards and warns about consequences.

We come back to the present. The Twins commit crimes and do illegal actions like drugs sealing, protection rackets, money laundering.

Reggie and France have a date in his own club. Frances asks if he enjoys being a gangster and Reggie denies it, saying he's simply a club owner, perhaps to please her. Some time later there begins a confrontation war between gang leader. It leads to fights between gangsters and twins win the battle. Then Reggie has to return to prison due to his actions where he is viciously beaten by the guards. Francy make condition Reggie must be justified by the law to marry her. When Reggie gets out, he and his brother start a very violent fight because of ruined business.

Finally, Reggie was justified de facto, but in reality he was the guilty. Reggie and Frances get married, having ignored the advice of mother to think twice before it. But happy marriage lasts not long, a lot of problems arise immediately. Frances becomes very despondent over her situation and takes to drugs.

This time Ron's refuses to take his medicine because he enjoys feeling and acting violent. It has consequences immediately. He commits cold-blooded murder in front of a room full of people. He can’t control himself. Reggie makes it clear to Frances that he is going continue with all his illegal activities despite her wishes that he quit. Once evening Reggie beats her wife. She breaks up with him, leaves him and commit soon suicide.

Ron hires Jack to kill Leslie Payne (one of his companions) but Jack fails. Leslie goes to the police and gets out all the secrets of the twins. At the end Reggie sitting in armchair, very upset and depressed, waits for his destiny. The Brothers were caught by police and sentenced. From narration we knew that Reggie will die from cancer death. Ron will be declared insane again.

I can characterize the main persons based on their actions in the following way. Ron is calculating, cunning, hot-tempered, self-confident, cruel, bloodthirsty, also brave but also can be funny, has a good sense for humor. Reggie – more reasonable than the brother, brave, attractive, with good-manners, but acts also cruelty, was obsessed with money. Both are cruel, f.e. they can harm and kill other people easily. So we can see that there is a kind of contradictoriness in their characters. They are two-faced, can wear a mask and make a good impression when it’s needed. Francy is trustful, romantic-minded, sentimental, naiv.

Analyzing the story, we can conclude that the author tackles some problems. The film is devoted to such themes as illegal life, crime, infatuation and unhappy marriage, drugs. In the center of the story are 3 conflicts. These include relations between brothers, relations between Frances and Reggie, and also the brothers and other people, society.

The relations between brothers are very reliable. They can trust each other and defend each other, but sometimes have rows. They can’t betray each other. For example, when Francie asks Reggie to act so his brother will be sent to prison because of his madness. But Roggie refuses to act so, saying he is my brother.

We can see an example of unhappy marriage. Frances saw her partner through rose-colored spectacles. She accepted his proposal with little regard to his actions, because she expected Reggie can change for the better and break up with criminal actions. She was so sure to be able to build harmonies realations but she got nowhere with her ideas. Reggie fall absolutely short of her expectations. After marriage it turned out, that it’s no bed of roses, to live with a criminal. He was consumed with his “work” and payed no attention to Frances, she saw him very little. That puts a creak into their relations and Frances began to alienate more and more. It was for Frances soon clear that all other people around her didn't think much of her. Such atmosphere was conductive to depression and lead then to taking drugs. The last that collapsed the marriage was abuse. Frances commits suicide to be free from worrying and evil around. I think Roggie really loved her but he came to this understanding only after her death which make him feeling guilty and reconsider all his life. The problem in his case was that he forgot how much he had loved her at the beginning, that they had had a dream to go on a trip together and had already had tickets, forgot about their plans of happy life, also his promises. But this dream hasn’t come true. The hunger for money, business, crime made him forgot all of this.

At the end we learn that all characters were punished for their life actions, got what they deserve. Frances for her naivety, Reggie for his negligence to Frances, and the twins for all crimes they have committed. Justice was served.

I like this film, because it thrilling, is devoted to some serious problems, provide an interesting story. The acting is really good, professional. The characters are origin and colorful. The dialogs between characters are humorful, witty and full of irony. I can recommend this film for watching.
