Nowadays, the problem of environment is very pronounced. Some people believe that people nowadays always care about the environment first while others think that nobody pays attention to environmental issues.

In my personal opinion, people nowadays always care about the environment first. To start with, I would like to say that in these latter years ecological situation has worsened, so people began to monitor the environment more carefully than before. Furthermore, nowadays people create organizations that monitor the environment, carry out actions to clean up territories, an example of such an organization is Greenpeace.

However, many people think that nobody pays attention to environmental issues. They consider that government do not protect environment from factories, and factories using this create landfills, throw all waste into rivers, thus polluting the environment.

Also, they think that government specifically turn a blind eye to this and allow illegal dumping of garbage.

Despite all my respect to my opponents’ opinion, I do not find their arguments convincing enough. Government every year tries to protect nature and even impose fines on illegal dumping of garbage.

In conclusion, I would like to say that the problem of environment is still to be discussed.
