There are a lot of things that make us happy. Some people believe that these things are free, but others do not agree with it.

In my opinion, things which increase our happiness are truly free. Firstly, sometimes people do not mention it, but they do not need a lot to feel great. We become cheerful thanks to basic social communication. Everyone knows that a person needs another person, so that is the way how we can become joyful. For example, a trustful conversation with friends, acquaintances’ support or parents’ love can make us happy and these things are free.

Secondly, we create things that make us happy by ourselves. It is the way how we feel and look at this world. Even little events can make us shine from inside, whether it is a birthday party, a cat that we tame from a street or a beautiful sunrise. These events also can be free.

However, some people consider that things which bring happiness into our lives always cost money. In their point of view, you need material stuff to be happy. They are sure that if you buy an expensive car, a new mobile phone or some new clothes, you will find your positive mood. There are a lot of things that everyone wants to buy, so you need money.

Personally, I do not agree with the opinion above, I am convinced that all this stuff will bring you temporary happiness. Sometime later you will adapt to things you have bought and there will be another desire to buy something. However, even millionaires are not always happy.

In conclusion, although there are different opinions on this problem, I still believe that you do not need money to make a great mood.
