40.2 Stress is the main cause of health problems (Сочинения ЕГЭ английский язык)

Nowadays it is commonly said that stress is the main cause of health problems.

Some people support this view, while others disagree with them.

From my point of view, stress is one of the causes of health problems. I think this is very harmful to our body, thoughts and feelings.

Firstly, stress and nervous tension exhausted the body, leading to poor health. Constant exposure to stress or depression leads to early aging of all organs and systems. It can lead to many health problems, such as high blood pressure, heart disease, obesity, and diabetes.

Secondly, stressful situations causes sleep problems. Sleep is an important function that allows your body to rejuvenate. Loss of sleep can cause health problems such as depression, chronic stress.

Finally, it prevents from living a full life. Constant worry, anxiety, and bad thoughts make it difficult to focus on solving problems. A person becomes irritable, loses contact with loved ones, which causes even more stress and negatively affects health.

However, many people believe that stress is not the main cause of health problems.

To begin with, poor health can be caused by years of bad habits and neglect.

The most common causes of poor health include cigarette smoking, poor nutrition, and a sedentary lifestyle.

Moreover, they think that stress is not a serious problem and it is easy to solve.

To tell the truth, I don't agree with this idea. I believe that bad habits can be causes of poor health but they do not involve such complications as stress can bring.

Also stress is not the easiest health problem, sometimes it can cause heavy diseases that are difficult to treat later.

Summing up my idea, although today there are many factors around people that lead to poor health.

One of main ones is stress, but people can take steps to reduce it and live a full life.
