Friendship is the greatest gift of our lives (Сочинения ЕГЭ английский язык)

It is generally known that the question of friendship has been widely discussed in recent years. Some people claim that there is no greater gift of life than your friends, while others hold an opposite view.

In my judgment, having friends is the most precious gift given to the mankind indeed. To begin with, it is due to our friends that we always know someone to have a sincere conversation with or get some support from if needed. In addition, a true friend is the one who never lets you down no matter what happens or whatever difficulties you are going through. It is known that having someone who is always there to help makes us much more confident and increases one’s self-esteem.

At the other end of the scale, there are individuals who choose to believe that friendship may not be defined as the most valuable thing in our lives.

They prove their point of view saying that there is a great deal of disadvantages when it comes to having friends, one of which is the possibility of betraying.

To a certain extent, it is right, but I still believe that although there will always be a number of people who tend to betray their friends or give away their secrets, the existence of true ones is not rejected. Having a loyal and reliable friend is a blessing.

To conclude, it should be said that friendship is a precious part of our lives indeed. As the proverb goes, “Who finds a true friend, finds a treasure”
