Leisure time is an integral part of our daily activity. The current project focuses on teenagers’ preferences in spending free time and finds out the degree of popularity of each of them.

To begin with, one of the most prominent facts of the data provided in the table is that the most common way of spending free time among teenagers is going for a walk with friends, which is followed by going to the cinema. The figures are 45% and 22% respectively. Meanwhile the least popular free time activity is visiting music festivals which stands at 5%.

Apart from that, comparing average in popularity ways of spending leisure time we can conclude that shopping in the mall is more popular than eating out in the cafe. The former comprises 15% while the latter makes up 13%.

The data given in the table reveal that there are different ways of spending free time among teenagers. However, sometimes teenagers waste their free time doing nothing or spending it online aimlessly.

I believe that one of the possible solutions to the issue of teenager’s disorganized leisure time can be creating extracurricular activities at school or planning it ahead with parents. For instance, it can be attending cultural events in museums, theaters or art galleries.

Taking everything into consideration, there is a wide range of ways of spending free time among teenagers. As for me, I prefer spending it in conversation with my close friends, because I believe that there is nothing better than live communication.
