It’s important for high school students to study compulsory subjects even if they don’t see any need for them in the near future (Сочинения ЕГЭ английский язык)

The problem of studying compulsory subjects in the high school has always aroused sharp debates. Nowadays a great number of people consider that it is necessary to study them. However, others have quite a different point of view. I think this problem is really worth discussing.

As for me, I support the first opinion and have several reasons to prove it. To start with, learning compulsory subjects allows to understand world processes. People have a need in fundamental knowledge in biology, physics and chemistry to know main laws of nature. In addition, studying different subjects helps people make a right choice in their future career. For example, if a person does not learn biology, she or he cannot know that they want to be a doctor or not.

Moreover, learning some subjects leads to the formation of certain connections in the brain that better human memory. People can use this skill for analysis large texts.

Nevertheless, there are many people who think in a different way. They claim that studying compulsory subjects is time-consuming. People spend on unnecessary things their free time.

Though I respect this point of view, I definitely cannot share it. I am absolutely sure that people can correctly distribute their time and manage to do everything. Knowledge of compulsory subjects make this process only easy.

In conclusion, I would like to stress that in spite of the fact how many points of view concerning this problem may be, I still stand my ground that people must study compulsory subjects for their mental development.
