It's reported that billions of dollars are spent on space exploration projects every year. Some people believe that this money should be used to solve problems on Earth example (Ñî÷èíåíèÿ ÅÃÝ àíãëèéñêèé ÿçûê)

It has been widely discussed in recent years whether spending much money on space exploration is essential. It is thought by some people that investing billions of dollars on investigation of space destinations is vital, while others are convinced that it is more beneficial to spend these money on solving problems on Earth.

In my opinion it is more significant to use big amount of money on improving the situation on our planet.

There are several reasons why I think so. First of all, many disasters happen all around the world every year. There are such problems as starvation, damage caused by natural disasters, illiteracy in poor countries, viruses and harmful diseases. Solving these problems is crucial for entire humanity. Another argument is the fact that our planet is the only place which can be inhabited by people because of clean water and atmosphere, so we need to invest in addressing the problems on Earth.

On the other hand, it is often thought by some people that spending billions on projects of space investigation is more important. They believe that opening new planets can enhance our abilities and allow people to uncover the mysterious of space.

Personally, I cannot agree with the opinion mentioned above. I think that it is better to think of our future on Earth, because if we spend enormous amounts of money on space with not directing our attention to planet, we will destroy our native home.

In conclusion, I am convinced that spending billions of dollars on supporting to address the global issues is the main target for humanity because this way we can protect our native home.
