Space exploration was the greatest achievement (Сочинения ЕГЭ английский язык)

It is a common knowledge that there are a lot of achievements in the 20th century. Space exploration is considered to be the most important achievement of 20th century by some people. Others think differently.

Personally, i consider it beneficial to believe that there are a lot of great achievements in the 20th century but for space exploration. There are several reasons for my opinion. To begin with, the invention of the car has revolutionised our world more than space exploration because now, a person can move to different places without paying much money,thus, it is convenient for people. Moreover, the invention of the mobile phone has changed our world for the best since people can keep in touch with their friends and family no matter where they are.

However, there are people who do not agree with my point of view.

My opponents assume that space exploration was the best achievement of the 20th century because nowadays, people have the general knowledge of the space that broadens our horizons and develops imagination.

I am sure that this position is far from the truth. My opponents fail to understand that a person can develop his mental ability reading an interesting boor or watching educational movies.

Taking into consideration different opinions on this issue, i believe that space explorations was not the best achievement of the 20th century.
