You should read about historical sites before sightseeing (Сочинения ЕГЭ английский язык)

In today’s world the problem of travellers’ awareness causes great argument and controversy. Some people believe that it is necessary to know something about a place before visiting it while others do not agree with them.

My personal view is that people should read about sights before travelling. To start with, one will know about the most fascinating places which he really needs to see. Furthermore, a person should read about special and unique traditions and customs to prevent violation of rules. Additionally, people may have questions during the reading and they will know exactly what they are interested in. People can a guide the questions and it will be better for remembering.

However, there exists another point of view on this issue. First of all, people lose the sense of wonder when they prepare for sightseeing.

Moreover, an unprepared person will be forced to communicate with locals, so he can get more interesting information from them than from books.

Despite my respect for this opinion, I cannot share it because a person visualizes the object while reading and he will experience more emotions in a real life. Besides, one can save money on guides if he reads about a place at home.

Taking into consideration all mentioned above, I must admit that people should prepare for travelling and read about sights before visiting them.
