Billions of dollars are spent on space exploration projects every year. Some people believe that this money should be used to solve problems on Earth (Сочинения ЕГЭ английский язык)

We live in the era of modern technologies and many discoveries are made every day. Some people think that there is no use in spending money on space exploration. Others think we should look after our own planet before we try to visit the others.

In my opinion, a space exploration opens to people a vast spoke for comfortable future life. First of all, the space travel will require a lot of specialised equipment, therefore its developing will provide jobs for many people.

Thanks to above, the rate of unemployed people will decrease. Secondly, it may help humanity to find the second home. As population is growing up every day, the Earth as a planet may not be big enough and its resources are running out with increasing pace.

However, there are some people with the different opinion. They think that there is no sense in space exploration, when there are a lot of problems on the Earth.This stage, the billions of dollars have been spent on different space programmes, and those expenditures would have been redirected for solving the problems bothering us such as war, hunger, dirty water and etc. Many people suffer from those in such remote places as Africa and Syria.

Nevertheless, I do not agree with the above opinion. The space exploration requires the advanced technology and knowledges, especially in the areas of mechanics, energy and IT. By the way, africans can eat canned food as astronauts in space, because of the extra hot climatic conditions. This knowledge may provide solutions for problems on this planet.

To sum up, it seems that the advantages outweigh the disadvantages. People need to use careful planning and good judgement to help humanity to invent in and use space technology wisely. Only time tells us if this is what will happen.
