Nowadays, Internet communication is an important part of our lives. On the one hand, it simplifies our existence and has a lot of advantages. On the other hand, some people just waste their time there and lose important life skills.
In my opinion, internet communication makes us shy, silly and even addicted. First of all, it is impossible to have a real friend only chatting with him or her because we will not hear the voice of a person and we will not understand one's emotions and feelings. So we lose the ability to communicate with people in the real world and become withdrawn. Secondly, often in the Internet young people use slang and forget beautiful words of their native language which leads to a depletion of vocabulary and then to dullness.
However, there is an opposing point of view on the question.
Internet communication is a good way of keeping in touch with friends and family at a long distance. Besides that, it does not take a lot of time and you can easily socialize with old acquaintances without leaving home and distracting from work.
As for me, I do not agree with the previous opinion. I strongly believe that the internet can never replace live communication. It is so hard to keep in touch for a long time and unfortunately often it leads to termination of relationships. Also, if a person really misses another person it will not enough to write a message.
In conclusion, I would like to say that we are people and we must socialize with each other in the real world. It is impossible to feel real emotions and practice your life skills on the Internet.
