Volunteering expands your world (Сочинения ЕГЭ английский язык)

Volunteering has become very popular nowadays, especially among young people. They volunteer for different reasons but there are people who do not support this.

In my opinion, volunteering helps many people who have not chosen their occupation. It gives them time to find their calling and understand what they want to do. In addition, there are a lot of fields of volunteering. For example, if you volunteer in international sport championships, you have a chance to meet your favourite sportsmen and learn more about other cultures. What is more, you can explore the world and visit foreign countries to volunteer in different projects.

However, some people suppose that volunteering is just a waste of time, because you do not get money for this work.

They also say that sometimes you have to do unpleasant work. For example, to take care of elderly or disabled people, feed them, clean after them and so on.

I totally disagree with this point of view. Firstly, people volunteer not for getting material praise, but for great experience which is more important. While doing this we learn to cope with various problems and be more sociable. Secondly, people can volunteer in may different ways. If you do not want to look after ill people, you can join an environmental organisation or help to organize sport events. So, there are a lot of fields where people can volunteer.

In conclusion, I would like to stress that volunteering is a great opportunity to get valid experience and understand ourselves better.
