The last night of the world - завтра конец света, Рей Бредбери (Сочинения ЕГЭ английский язык)

Today we are going to discuss the story of Ray Bradbury, which is called «The Last Night of the World». In my opinion, it is one of the greatest short stories of this author, because it has really interesting, important and meaningful idea. Frankly speaking, this story made my cry.

First of all, I want to say about my personal view on this situation and what am I going to do. As for me, it is really difficult to understand, that it is the last day of your life. I think, I want to spend this day with my family and my dog. I would like to go to Greece. It is my favorite place in the world, where I can feel comfortable and relaxed. I don’t want to worry during this day, because this day has to be good, kind and cozy. Secondly, I want to mention, that I would miss my family, friends and pets.

They are my closest ones and I can’t imagine my life without them.

In my opinion, humanity doesn’t deserve to die out. We always try to make our life better, develop something new, and care about our nature. There is no doubt that we have some mistakes, such as wars, nuclear bombs, terrorism and so on. But as for me, it is not the reason for dying out.

To be honestly, I can’t imagine an End of the World, because it is emotionally difficult to me. Maybe, something can happen with the Sun.

Finally, I would like to say, that this story could teach us a lot. For example, that we have to appreciate each second of our life, because we will never know, when we will have the last night of the world.
