Nowadays some people are sure that the Internet is the main reason of their procrastination. Others disagree because in contrary they believe it helps them to save a lot of time for important cases. Whose opinion is right?
As far as I am concerned, I agree that using of the Internet is the best way to economize time. First of all, the Internet is the most massive source of knowledge, bigger than any library.
And in contrast to the library, one can find anything humanity has ever known just by "one click". It really saves a lot of hours which could be spent for searching by the other way. Besides, Information technologies have opened an opportunity to study without leaving home. Today everyone can get an education by online-courses, and combine study and work. These means of self-development cannot be called as "time-wasters".
At the same time, some people think that young generation spend too much time in social networks. Thus, they have no time for communication in real life, work and studies. So it is needed to limit the access to the Internet.
However, I cannot agree with the opposing point of view. As a representer of the young generation, I believe that communication in social networks is not a waste of time. Actually, it helps us to keep in touch with friends and make new acquaintances even useful for our future careers.
In the end of this discussion, I would like to note that people who want to loiter away their time will always blame anything but not themselves, and it does not matter what it will be, the Internet or not.
