How does gender of a teacher affect educational opportunity (Сочинения ЕГЭ английский язык)

Some researchers have claimed that gender of a teacher plays a role in children’s educational performance and behavioral patterns. Therefore,

there is an opinion that women make better teachers than men. However, this view is not universally accepted.

In my opinion, female teaching cannot be more beneficial and advantageous than male one because gender does not have anything to do with teacher effectiveness. To start with, being an excellent teacher is a matter of performing the profession. Consequently, teachers’ experience and training contribute much more to children’s academic achievements than gender.

Besides, in any society behavioral expectations are associated with maleness and femaleness. Accordingly, having both male and female teachers children experience the advantages that both genders bring to the class.

However, some people believe that female teaching is on the right track.

Firstly, the core reason behind success of women as teachers is their motherly instinct, so many children find them more helpful and caring. That is why, children are likely to develop proper behavior and impressive progress in studies.

Despite my respect for this opinion, I cannot share it because some studies show that male teachers take a strong pose in a classroom, regain class control easily and provide facilitating learning. As a result, children complete their studies to the extent of their academic capacities.

In conclusion, I would like to say that the issue of female teaching effectiveness is still to be discussed. I strongly believe that female teaching does not tend to be smarter for children.
