Wearing school uniforms is good for students (Сочинения ЕГЭ английский язык)

Nowadays, the issue of wearing uniforms by children at school causes a great discussion and controversy. Some people consider that it is essential for pupils to be dressed in uniforms while others are convinced that it is not a good idea to wear formal clothes during a school day.

In my opinion, teenagers do not need to wear school uniforms. Firstly, formal clothes are not as comfortable as casual ones because they limit movements. Therefore, children feel uncomfortable during their lessons. Secondly, it is vital for some adolescents, especially girls, to look beautiful and attractive, but school uniforms usually are not rather pretty and fashionable. As a result, pupils are concerned about their outfits more than about the process of studying and it can lead to having troubles with their marks and academic performance.

However, there are people who have the opposite opinion.

They believe that all students should wear school uniforms because it makes them more organized and accustomed to keeping order which can be useful in the future.

Despite my respect for the opinion mentioned above, I cannot share it. I think that plain clothes cannot help children to become more disciplined but if all pupils wear the same outfits, they will lose their identity and self-expression and, as a consequence, will not have a successful future life.

In conclusion, I would like to say that there are two different opinions on this problem. I am inclined to believe that it is not a good idea to wear uniforms at school by teenagers.
