Thank you for your letter. I was glad to hear from you again. Oh, preparing for Christmas is a very exciting activity.

Well, in my country people certainly celebrate Christmas.

By the way, it’s one of my favorite holydays. In Russia we also have many other holidays to celebrate: New Year, Easter, Victory Day and many others. As for me, my lovely one is City Day because on this holiday Moscow looks marvelous. People gather in the center of the city to sing songs, dance, watch different performances and just have fun.

So, what are your favorite British holidays? How do you usually celebrate them? Whom do you prefer to celebrate holidays with?

Dear Emily,

Thank you for your letter. I was glad to hear from you again.

Well, you asked me about the party. You know, it was really fascinating! Frankly, it wasn’t quite easy to make everything look festively, but I designed and arranged everything in the room in a pirate style. As for food, we bought 10 liters of punch, 8 pizzas and lots of other delicious snacks for every taste. A lot of guests were invited and I’m sure everybody liked the thematic party which I’ve made for my friend.

So, have you chosen a theme for your party? How many guests are you going to invite? Do you intend to buy special decorations for the party?

So, what kind of music do you prefer? Have your preferences changed recently? What’s your favorite singer?
