Traditional school textbooks should be replaced by e-books // Our lives would all be enriched greatly if we could have a chip planted in our brains enabling us to speak any language we wished (Сочинения ЕГЭ английский язык)

School books are an essential part of education but more and more people think that students should use e-versions instead of traditional ones while others disagree with them. I want to discuss this statement and show my point of view.

In my opinion, e-books should replace paper textbooks in school because it will be more convenient for everyone. Firstly, many students experience back pain because of heavy textbooks which they have to bring to school everyday. E-books are the best solution to this problem. That way, children will bring only few notebooks and a phone or a tablet instead of a bag full of books. Health is the most important thing in life and we should protect it. Secondly, schools and parents will save a lot of money if e-versions of school textbooks are used because most students already have an electronic device which they can use to download e-books instead of buying new ones in a store every year.

On the other side, some teachers and parents are worried because they believe that the use of electronic devices for reading textbooks will affect on children’s productivity at school.

They will be easily distracted by different games and other programs.

As for me, I do not agree with the opposing opinion because e-books won’t distract pupils and interfere them. Every electronic device has a special function where you can set a limit for certain programs and make sure that pupils will use it only when it is necessary

In conclusion, I think that e-books are better than traditional ones and school should replace paper textbooks with them.

Modern technologies play an important role in our lives. Many people believe that it would be great if we had a special chip installed in our brains that would allow us to speak any language while others disagree with them. I want to discuss it and show my point of view.

In my opinion, our lives would be better if we had those chips. Firstly, such technology would give us an opportunity to community with people from all over the world without any language barrier. In addition, we would be able to travel to any country and get to know more about different cultures and their traditions. Secondly, that technology would be able to affect greatly on relationships between countries and our world would become more united because of it. Many conflicts appear due to the misunderstandings and turn into wars but chips would prevent it and save peoples lives.

On the other side, some people are against such technology because they think it’s not save for us and government would have an ability to control what we hear and listen to our conversations.

As for me, I do not agree with the opposing opinion because chips would not be planted if they weren’t safe. Scientists make a research in depth before testing any technology on people. Moreover, government wouldn’t be able to control lives of millions of people because it would be very expensive.

In conclusion, we live in a modern world where new advanced technology appear every day. I think, I would be glad if people had chips in their brain because it would give us many opportunities.
