Traditional school textbooks should be replaced by e-books example (Сочинения ЕГЭ английский язык)

The question of what format of books should be read at schools has been widely discussed in recent years. Some people claim that e-books should replace traditional school textbooks, while others hold an opposite view.

In my opinion, the idea of replacing paper books with e-books may be defined as quite ambivalent, but it is definitely worth it. To begin with, it is much easier to download a book that should be read in class or as an assignment with the help of a great variety of web-sites than to waste your time on looking for it in a library. Also, according to the researchers, electronic books should replace school textbooks as it would allow students to make different kinds of notes throughout the process of reading, which, as we all know, is strictly forbidden when reading paper books.

Nevertheless, there are individuals who believe that e-books should not be used instead of its paper versions when it comes to education.

They think that spending so much time on reading with your eyes focused on screens may have a negative affect on your eyesight.

I strongly disagree with those people. I still believe that modern technologies provide us with opportunity to protect your eyesight while reading an e-book. For instance, today's electronic books have various detectors which are considered to decrease any harmful affection by regulating the light-level.

To conclude, it should be said that replacing traditional school textbooks with e-books may be a dubious decision to make. On the other hand, sooner or later our generation will mostly use electronic books because of its benefits.
