We live in the age of globalization. It is not difficult to travel to any place of our planets nowadays. Millions of people visit foreign countries every year. Why do they do it? Actually, some people think that travels broaden the mind.

As for me, I agree with this statement. Firstly, while travelling we learn a lot of facts about places we visit. New knowledge makes us thinking wider. Secondly, we taste new food, meet new people and understand other cultures in our travels. Understanding of new culture helps us to realize this world better. So travels enlarge the mind!

Unfortunately, some people have another opinion. They believe that travel does not broaden the mind and it is just an expensive way to relax.

These people enjoy sleeping and eating in their hotel the whole day!

I do not agree with them and do not support their point of view. As for me, it is not necessary to go travelling to relax – I think everybody can relax in the plac they live.

In my conclusion, I believe that travel enrich the mind because while travelling we learn a lot of new about country we visit and culture we connect with. And we start thinking wider and understanding our world better.

It is difficult to imagine our life without travelling. It is very easy to go to every place of the Earth. Millions of people visit foreign countries every year. Why do they do it? Some people believe that going somewhere is so popular because travels enlarge our mind.

As for me, I agree with this statement. Firstly, while travelling we learn a lot of facts about places we visit. New knowledge makes us thinking wider. Secondly, we taste new food, meet new people and understand other cultures in our travels. Understanding of new culture helps us to realize this world better. So travels make the mind work better and enlarge it!

ut there is plenty of people who disagree. They are sure that all journeys can do is to make people relax. They also added that the best thing in travelling is sleeping and eating in their hotel the whole day!

I think they are not right at all. In my opinion, it is not necessary to go travelling to relax – I think everybody can relax in the places they live.
