Digital literacy is the key to success in every occupation (Сочинения ЕГЭ английский язык)

There is no doubt that the influence of modern technologies on its users has greatly increased in recent years. Nevertheless, there are people who claim that it is hardly possible to succeed in any occupation without a high level of digital literacy, while others hold an opposite view.

In my judgment, being educated in such area as digital literacy gives us the opportunity to be successful in any occupation indeed. To begin with, today’s world is filled with diverse computer technologies and it is impossible to get a well-paid job or even education without the knowledge of digital literacy. In addition, being able to work with different digital devices allows you to open up the whole new world of possibilities: from getting a promotion at work to achieving success in learning foreign languages.

On the other hand, there are individuals who choose to believe that one’s success does not depend on computer literacy.

They assume that there is still a big number of occupations such as artists, musicians, or singers, which do not require this skill.

I strongly disagree with this statement. I still incline to the opinion that there is no occupation which would not require the ability of working with digital devices as we live in the century of modern technologies. For instance, the capability to work with computers may help an artist become much more professional and self-fulfilled as it provides him or her with new ways of painting.

To conclude, I still believe that digital literacy is the key to success in anything you wish. Living in modern society requires the knowledge of computers and other devices so you may achieve self-fulfilling.
