Technological progress is always harmful for the environment (Сочинения ЕГЭ английский язык)Оценка эксперта внизу There is a popular opinion that technological breakthroughs are often have a negative impact on the environment. At the same time, some people claim that this progress is environmentally friendly for our planet. I strongly believe that technological development influences positively on the environment. First of all, it makes person’s life easier. For instance, thanks to scientific advances people have refrigerations reducing food waste and modern office equipment which decrease paper usage that save natural resources. Secondly, the technological progress has an influence on the main problem of people’s life related to the big amount of landfills. Scientists build recycling factories and make up with producing methods. However, my opponents think that new technologies are always harmful for the environment. In their view, it only damages to air and soil because of using harmful things for creating new ones. Personally, I do not agree with the above-mentioned opinion. I am convinced that this problem can be resolved because actions of scientists are related to saving natural resources and people have some proofs, including recycling factories and electric cars. In conclusion, I would like to stress that technological development benefits to the environment because it creates new methods of using things and increase the number of recycling factories.
