There is no doubt, that nowadays travelling is becoming more and more popular as a way to relax, learn something new and make good friends. The variety of travelling ways and methods give people a lot of opportunities to choose what they exactly like. However, package tour is gaining a big popularity among tourists. Why is it happening ? Is it the best type of traveling? In my essay I would like to find out it.

As for me, package tour has a great amount of advantages. Firstly, you do not have to worry about where you are going to stay, as accommodation has been booked in advance by travel agency. Secondly, having a tour guides will save your money, because they know better where to go and what to buy in order to make your trip as cheap as possible. Thirdly, you almost certainly be with a group of people from your town, so it will be amazing to communicate with them, discuss all your impressions with each other and share emotions too.

Moreover, some package tours are even all-inclusive, where you get all your food and drink provided and never have to leave your hotel.

Nevertheless, some people believe that travelling on your own is the best variant. They are convinced, that all tasks solved by the tour guide can be replaced by simple gadgets, because you can always recognize your location or find useful information about where to go to spend your time more entertaining. Furthermore, if you do not like tour guide’s plan, you can not change it.

I completely disagree with the statement above. Gadgets are not so reliable and can break or discharge at any time, while tour guide always is ready to help you and tell what to do . Also tour guides design and develop the entertaining program so that you are never bored.

In conclusion I would like to say that it is better idea for most of people who want to enjoy and get good memories to have a package tour. The tour guide will help people to save their money as he guides them to the best and cheapest places. Moreover, tour guide will allow people to spend their time better without wasting their time or money.
