The problem of social networking has always aroused heated debates. Some people are convinced that social media interaction is essential for contemporary adolescents. However, the others claim that communication via social networks can be rather harmful for teenagers. In my essay I am going to express my personal opinion on the matter, debate with my opponents and draw the balanced conclusion.

In my opinion, nowadays social media interaction is the matter of vital importance for every teen. First of all, it is necessary for bosom friends from different parts of the globe as the only possible way to keep in touch. Secondly, online communication helps a lot of teenagers to struggle against psychological troubles and diseases.

One becomes open-minded and brave enough for acquaintance-making.

However, some people criticize my point of view. They suppose that interaction in social media can turn out to be dangerous. The reason is that trusting and naive teenagers can face different kinds of offenders online.

Nevertheless, I disagree with this statement. The point is that it is easy to uncover criminals as their way of communication is special. Modern teens are good thinkers and can easily distinguish pretenders from true coevals. Besides, contacting with offenders cannot turn into live interaction if the teenager is observant.

In conclusion, summarizing all the points mentioned above, I strongly believe that communication via social networks is still significant and very needful for modern adolescents.
