Young people pay too much attention to fashion пример (Сочинения ЕГЭ английский язык)

Nowadays many people are arguing about the role which fashion plays in the lives of youngsters. Some people believe that young people are too concerned about fashion whereas others claim that teenagers do not care much about being fancy.

In my opinion, teenagers’ interest in fashion is too high. I have some reasons to support my point of view. Firstly, many youngsters wear trendy clothes even when the weather conditions are unsuitable for it. For instance, in winter many teenagers wear fashionable sneakers instead of boots because being stylish for them is more important than keeping themselves warm. Secondly, youngsters spend most of their parents’ money on buying trendy clothes which are usually unreasonably expensive because they want to look more fashionable than others.

However, there are those who argue that teenagers are not interested in fashion at all.

They say that in modern world teenagers are so busy with their studies that they do not have any time to read fashion magazines and spend hours in boutiques.

Nevertheless, I cannot agree with my opponents’ opinion. At present young people do not need to have significant amounts of free time to stay fancy as the Internet enables them to keep up with the newest trends just by reading short fashion blogs and to buy clothes rather quickly in online shops.

In conclusion, I would like to emphasize that opinions may vary but I strongly believe that young people are too focused on being fashionable, their unreasonable behavior with their parents’ money and not taking into account weather conditions being the evidence for that.
