Nowadays some people might argue that the educational system in which boys and girls study separately is much more effective than if they study at the same school. Others support the opposite view. Who is right?
To my mind, it is better when boys and girls study in the same school. First of all, this helps develop their communication skills with the opposite sex. In the modern world, many people prefer to meet in social networks, youngsters do not know how to start communicating with each other.
If we deprive them of interaction with children of the other sex in schools, then in adulthood they will be uncomfortable doing this. Besides, these are the good conditions for them to teach each other something new. For example, boys are more likely to resolve conflicts by force, while girls are more likely to find a compromise and, when co-education, they can teach boys this.
However, some believe that separation is more effective. They think that for female and male children there should be different educational programs in order to educate boys as men, and girls as women.
However, I am sure that in the modern world, everyone understands that men and women are equal. Therefore the conditions for their growing up should also be equal. Different programs can be subjective reasons for choosing a wrong way of life.
To conclude, I would like to mention that the modern system of joint education of children of different sexes reveals the potential of students much better than the conservative one.
