Using a computer every day can have more negative than positive effects on your children. (Сочинения ЕГЭ английский язык)

There is no doubt that computers became an indispensable part of modern life. Some people think that using this device every day is harmful for adolescents, whereas others disagree with it.

In my opinion, a computer has many advantages for children. Firstly, they can search different information without wasting time by going to libraries like our parents did. Secondly, children can communicate with each other, share their interests and emotions wherever they want due to the Internet connection. Finally, this device is one of the best opportunities to entertain yourself.

For example, watching favorite movies, sport programs or reading exciting books.

Nevertheless, the opponents of this point of view argue that computers negatively influence on adolescents’ health, especially, for vision. Also children became lazy, rude and sometimes aggressive.

However, I do not agree with above statements. Many teenagers understand how much time they should spend in front of a monitor, what kind of sources they need and know what the consequences will happen if they do something wrong. Therefore, children can control themselves.

In conclusion, even though there is the opinion that computers have some disadvantages, I firmly believe that using this device does more good than harm for children.
