39. Future career (Сочинения ЕГЭ английский язык)

The aim of the project I am currently working on is to explore what parent’s career wishes for their children in Zetland. As a part of my project I have found a table with some data on the subject, which I am going to analyse.

As can be seen from the table, almost than half of the respondents (49%) they choose areas of science and technology for their children’s career, making it the most popular thing among surveyed in Zetland. It’s also worth mentioning that some people consider healthcare and wellness jobs a the best choice for future career.

The table also shows that there are only 9% of parents, who choose business and sales for children’s future career, which is almost two times less than those, who consider doctors a good profession (16%).

In my opinion, is the statistics in the table reveal an important problem.

Only 12% of the respondents expressed a desire to accounting and financial. This is due to the fact, that this profession is bad for health. Accountants sit at computers every day, which spoils their posture and vision. However, it is a thankless job that pays little. To solve this problem, people should take physical breaks during work.

I firmly believe, that choosing a career is one of the most important life decisions. It means that on leaving school every teenager should be aware what he/she wants to become, because the future life of man will depend on it.
