A PERSON WHO IS FLUENT IN A FOREIGN LANGUAGE CAN EASILY TEACH IT example new (Сочинения ЕГЭ английский язык)

The issue of teaching foreign languages is relevant nowadays but still it is rather controversial. Some people state that a fluent speaker of a foreign language cannot teach it with ease. Others claim that a person who can speak a foreign language fluently has an opportunity to easily teach it.

I am inclined to believe that a fluent speaker of a foreign language cannot easily teach it. To begin with, people who want to teach others a foreign language should have teaching and social skills and be patient and tactful. If people do not have these qualities, they cannot teach well. Another argument is that a person who is fluent in a foreign language should teach his/her students not only good speaking but also writing and grammar. Some fluent speakers are capable of prone to misspelling that can lead to mistakes of their learners.

However, some people tend to believe that people who fluently speak foreign languages can easily teach them.

As they see it, a fluent speaker of a second language can share their knowledge with learners because he/she can teach them in the same way as they were taught.

I cannot agree with the idea above. My opponents fail to understand that every person requires his/her unique approach to learning a foreign language so the way of teaching which is similar to the teacher’s one cannot be appropriate.

All in all, there are two points of view on the issue of teaching a foreign language. I am strongly convinced that a person who is fluent in a foreign language cannot teach it with ease.
