What can help people to live long (Школьные сочинения)

If you are eager to live long and prosper, you are to follow certain laws of health which are quite easy to learn.

First of all, nowadays people lack physical activity, besides, some of them start leading a sedentary lifestyle and of course it will lead to no good, so if you want to have a healthy heart and strong bones, it's a must for you to do a certain amount of exercise every day.

But to my mind, one of the best ways to stay healthy and fit is to go in for various sports.

It's worth be mentioning, that eating healthy food is also important nowadays. "An apple a day keeps the doctor away" says an English proverb. I can't help agreeing it, as consuming vegetables, fruit, seafood and wholegrain is likely to make you as fit as a fiddle. As for meat, some people prefer to cut down on this product, however, doctors say that consuming meat in moderate amounts can increase resistance to various illnesses.

Besides, researches have proved that out psychological health is also important. I was surprised to learn, that longevity depends on our ability to shed stresses regularly, It turned out that most long-lived people aren't subject to depression at all, they are able to cope well with loss and disappointment and they constantly do their best to develop a hopeful outlook on life.

In conclusion, I'd like to say that if you are eager to live until a ripe old age, or even to become a centenarian, you should remember that eating and drinking in moderate amounts, reasonable hours of labour and study, regular exercises, recreation and rest lay foundations for good health.
