Junk Food Cool (Сочинения ЕГЭ английский язык)

It is common knowledge that people all over the world know the fact that health is the most significant aspect of life. In fact, people usually claim: “You are what you eat”. I am fully convinced that the products we eat can either improve or damage our health, so, I consider it is extremely important to avoid junk food as it does only harm to us. Let me present my ideas on the following topic.

On the one hand, fast food costs cheap and anyone can buy it. Also, I believe that fast food is really tasty, that is why it is so popular among teenagers. Moreover, junk food is usually already cooked and can be consumed after a few minutes of heating. So, when you come home from school or work and you are extremely hungry, you just want to grab something really fast and you do not think about any vitamins or proteins that this food is going to give you.

Fast food offers you a wonderful opportunity to eat quickly and to go on with your working or studying routine. For instance, my elder brother is a student at the university and now has no possibility to cook something fancy, besides, he needs to study a lot. Thus, junk food is almost always on his menu. Additionally, fast food costs really cheap and he can afford it.

On the other hand, people all over the world have learned the sad truth about junk food. Firstly, it is usually made of products of quality. Secondly, fast food contains lots of harmful, genetically modified fats and tons of salt and sugar. They damage our health in a great way if we eat it constantly. For example, a lot of people in the USA suffer from obesity and other health problems because they eat junk food very often. They work a lot, do not want to cook and are eager to save money, that is why for them junk food is the best solution. I truly believe, if they skipped eating fast food, they would not have so many health problems.

To conclude, it is my firm belief that we should always keep in mind that we are what we eat and everything that is put into our mouth can either hurt us or improve our health. Of course, we should take into consideration that sometimes we are obliged to eat fast food, when we travel or have no possibility or time to cook, however, we should always remember that junk food brings more harm than benefit.
