The circus is the best entertainment for children.

The circus has been one of the most famous entertaining performances since time immemorial. Every year thousands of children attend it. Lots of people think that the circus is the most preferable entertainment for little kids and it is really worth visiting. Others do not support this point of view.

In my opinion, the circus is not as enjoyable for children as it seems because it has some negative aspects.

To start with, most circuses use cruelty related to trained animals which take part in the performance.

ehind the fun and the laughter of children there is an awful atmosphere of animals’ lives: they are kept in cages and feel like prisoners with constant stress. That is why animals become aggressive and unpredictable and can attack spectators. As a result, children can get negative experience which may harm their mental health. Moreover, children can get scared of clowns with brightly painted faces, terrifying hairstyles and strange costumes. Thus, the circus can make unkind impressions in kid’s memories.

However, some people claim that the circus is a perfect amusement for children as they can watch the performances of clowns, acrobats, jugglers and tricks of animals. It creates a cheerful atmosphere for every child. So, children can relax and get unforgettable emotions.

Nevertheless, I do not agree with the opinion mentioned above. There is a wide range of other activities available for children such as doing sport, visiting theatres, reading books and listening to music. These kinds of entertainment are more beneficial for children’s development and education.

All in all, I strongly believe that the circus is not an essential part of children’s amusement and they can be better entertained without a circus.
