Space exploration was the greatest achievement of the 20th century essay (Сочинения ЕГЭ английский язык)

In today’s world the issue of exploring space appears to be very controversial. Some people think the exploration had been the most supreme attainment of the 20th century. Others say the invention of radiotelegraph to be the greatest accomplishment of the 20th age.

I am entirely convinced that the most supreme achievement is radiotelegraph. Firstly, it helped

ussian soldier during World War II to easily communicate with each other. They sent and gained a variety of information about the location of enemy troops and the amount of captives by means of radio connection. Secondly, this invention has changed the mass media industry once and for all. There are a lot of radio programs which were started to broadcast via radio receiver, some of which remain still popular now.

However, some people believe the exploration of cosmos to be the greatest 20th century accomplishment.

Space opened new horizons and unlock new possibilities to our humanity. In future we’ll be able to live on different planets and discover new stars.

I do not agree with the opponents’ opinion. In my view, space exploration did not have a real impact on our world. Furthermore, ordinary people cannot go to space because of a hard and thorough preparation, so we might not never live on other planets.

Taking into consideration all mentioned above, space exploration was not the greatest achievement of the 20th century.

Radiotelegraph in comparison to space is more useful discovery to our society as it helped soldiers during wars and it stays a significant source of information now.
