Reading fiction (Сочинения ЕГЭ английский язык)

There is no doubt that reading fiction is becoming less and less popular with teenagers.

Unfortunately I have to agree with this point of view. Teenagers prefer watching film adaptations instead of reading a book. They think that reading takes too much time and therefore it is not necessary. They believe that it is enough to see a film for understanding a plot and feeling the atmosphere.

Sometimes language in such books is too complicated for them. Some teenagers don’t want to make any effort, they just want enjoy reading. That’s why they choose for example fantasy instead of fiction.

All children have to read books at school. And there are always time limits for it. That’s why children increasingly dislike reading and it becomes completely uninteresting for them.

And finally, nowadays there are a lot of much considerably more interesting entertainment for teenagers.

For example playing computer computer games, hanging out in various shopping centres or just surfing the Internet.

However, I think that everybody will drawn into reading when they found the book which is suitable for them.

Teenagers are more interested in reading books with an interesting plot, a large number of dialogues and adventures. Therefore, they very often prefer simple books by their favorite authors instead of works of fiction. And they do not care at all that there is too simple language and the most ordinary words. They just enjoy reading an the process. However, if they find a book that suits them, they will love books and reading. And in the future, it will be easier for them to read any literature, including fiction.
