The role of the internet in our life has been increasing rapidly since the beginning of the century. Many people say that the internet has become a big time-waster while others think differently.

In my opinion, the internet is really helpful in modern life. First and foremost, the internet can help you if you don’t know something and don’t have enough time to look into the problem deeper. In that case, all you need to do is just open an internet browser and find the answer to your question. Secondly, the internet can help you not only with looking things up, but with learning something new too. There are a lot of various educational courses and programs dedicated to any theme that you want to know more about.

However, some people tend to believe that the internet waste a lot of our time.

We procrastinate while surfing the web and it is better for us to do some useful things than watch something worthless on the internet.

I disagree with this point of view. As I have already said, there is a lot of interesting and helpful content on the web, not only time-wasters. It depends on the person what one can do on the internet. If you want enough, you can learn something new and do not waste your time at all.

In conclusion, I would like to restate that the internet is a great thing that can help you in many situations and there are a lot of things that can help you to save your time, not to waste it.
