Doing a job is an integral part of adulthood. Work is considered by some people to be the most important thing in life. However, others disagree with this point of view.
In my opinion, there is nothing more significant in life than work. Firstly, doing a job is the main resource of earning money that gives you a lot of opportunities. Thanks to money a person can travel around the world, fulfill all their desires, provide family with financial support.
Secondly, work is the most effective and common way for self-expression via a profession, realization of human potential and finding your own destiny.
However, there are people who claim that the most important thing in life is not work, but health. Health is a basis of person’s existence, so having bad health might be an obstacle to entering a prestigious university, graduating from it successfully and getting a job. Unhealthy people take a high risk to stay unemployed.
Nevertheless, I disagree with above-mentioned opinion. To my way of thinking, work is the primary thing. Only by working an individual can make money that is necessary for getting expensive medical treatment for being health. Health is costly possession that is why you should work in order to keep it.
To sum up, despite different opinions, I would like to emphasize that work is the main source of opportunities for an individual that is why work is considered to be the most important thing.
