It is generally suggested that getting acquired and having not so close friends is simpler to make than owing and developing relationships with true friends. However, a big number of successful businessmen can’t share this point of view and keep to the opposite one.

To my mind having close friends is more difficult than just knowing many acquaintances since true friendship needs time to develop, nearly for 3 years or even more. In addition, a close friend is a collaboration between two, with certain upside-downs, which both of you have come through, not only enjoyable pastime. Moreover, to find a soulmate, a person sharing your interests is also a big deal.

Nevertheless, many businessmen believe that possessing plenty of friends, acquaintances is a hard work, because one ought to attend official appointments, which takes much energy. Moreover, it is vital to establish right link, meanwhile not spoiling one’s reputation.

Personally, I can’t fully agree with the businessmen’ opinion as such easy activity is focused on beneficial communication, not establishing real relationship.

To sum up, I’m convinced that it’s easier to make friends than to keep them due to time-consuming period of friendship formation with own shortages and happiness, even though some businessmen make hard efforts to make friends as much as possible.
