40. Browsing the web is harmful for teenagers (Сочинения ЕГЭ английский язык)

Nowadays there is a popular opinion that surfing the net is destructive for young people. At the same time, there are some people who believe that spend time on the internet is acceptably and it is not harmful for youngsters. Now I would like to express my point of view on this issue.

In my opinion, young people must limit the time they spend online or parents must help them with it.

rowsing the web is not harmless how it seems. Firstly, exposure to the internet from an early age has resulted in the fact that many youngsters grew addicted to it.

A lot of teenagers spend all free time on the internet via their gadgets. Internet for them is like a drug: they cannot live without it. Secondly, teenager’s eyes suffer from strain caused by gadgets which teenagers use to access the internet.

However, there is an opposite point of view that surfing the net is safe for young people. Moreover, the internet is helpful for education. There is a lot of information on the Internet which helps teenagers understand the school program and get a proper education.

These arguments do not seem convincing to me because necessary information people can find in the book or teacher can explain what you do not understand. More important the problem of teenagers’ dependence on the Internet is acute and it needs to be solved.

In conclusion, I would like to say that browsing the web is really harmful and has a lot disadvantages for teenagers. And not just for them.
