Virtual way to get acquainted (Сочинения ЕГЭ английский язык)

Some people think that in the era of advanced computer technologies traditional way of getting acquainted will be replaced by virtual ones.

It is believed that people will get acquainted only virtually because of technological progress. Some people strongly support this idea, but others claim that the Internet will not change. the ways, people meet each other.

As for me, I totally agree with this statement. Firstly, people Spend a lot of their time on the Internet. For example I spend much time on the Internet and it is easier to communicate virtually because writing messages is more convenient than communicating in person. Secondly, there are a lot of shy and timid person, who find

Internet to be only place to meet now people because they are afraid of coming up to a stranger and start talking. And finally, it is safer to get acquainted via the internet. It means that you can check the person's background to avoid unpleasant situations and also you can always blacklist the person you do not like.

Opponents to this view argue that people will ways meet other people in person.

They consider that you can understand the person character looking in his eyes. Moreover they are sure that the Internet is a dangerous place and there is much lies and hypocrisy. In their opinion it is almost impossible to understand if people are telling the truth or a lie.

I do not think they are right. First of all, I believe that you can understand a lot of but the person from conversation and it is not matter if you speak face to face or on the Internet. Furthermore, it some body is a liar he will tell lie both in person and virtually.

Needless to say, the advantage of technological progress are very strong I am sure that very soon people will use the Internet as the only way to get acquainted.
