Men and women are (not) capable of doing the same job (Сочинения ЕГЭ английский язык)

There are heated disputes concerning the topic whether men and women are capable of performing the same duties at the same jobs. Some people are strongly sure of it, whereas others think that men and women`s professions divide distinctly.

What concerns me, I think that there are indeed jobs which would fit both genders equally. To start with, those might be such jobs as a teacher, doctor and etc., which require some specific knowledge. Besides, there are some more common and simple professions like conductor or station cop, which usually require a person to demand tickets or announce something in time. After all, there are even such responsible professions like construction engineering or business managing which may be gender-neutral, too.

However, there are people who have an opposing opinion on that topic. Firstly, they often say that there are some professions which are more suitable for men than women, like, for example, those requiring a lot of physical strength. And finally, somebody also claims that there is such thing like gender psychology which also affects choice of profession, like men being more prone to exact sciences and women being more artistic by nature.

Although these proclamations may have a point, especially the last one, it is still hard to argue with that gender-neutral professions do exist. For a change, in some cases women may perform jobs considered to be mens, like loader or plumber. Furthermore, men sometimes can do jobs traditionally associated with women, too, be it knitting or hairdressing.

To sum up, I would like to stress that men and women can indeed perform equally in some professions, despite the sustainable archetypes.
